FLOCKS is a Dutch knitwear brand started by Christien Meindertsma. The Rotterdam based designer creates these ‘Urchin’ plush chairs along with other amazing knitted works. Each Urchin apparently comes with an identity card to let you know where the materials come from. To quote the people at inhabitat, buying one of these seems more like adopting a pet than acquiring a piece of furniture.

Matthieu Bessudo is an illustrator from France, who goes by the alias mcbess. I absolutely love the nostalgic qualities of his drawings. The ones I posted here have amazing details so I’ve included higher resolution versions of them – you can view them by clicking on the images above. Be sure to check out videos of him playing guitar if you visit his site.
You can download desktop wallpaper images by mcbess at Kitsune Noir.

Jan Von Holleben is a photographer from South-west Germany, who works between Berlin and London. This series “dreams of flying” is an on-going project where he re-creates scenes from movies, children’s books, and his imagination.
