Irina Troitskaya, an illustrator from Russia, draws her own versions of Russian stacking dolls. Every since I started seeing the DIY vinyl toy phenomenon, I’ve been wanting to draw my versions of these stacking dolls. (Don’t ask me how I got to Russian stacking dolls from vinyl toys…) Anyway, these creatures aren’t the only amazing works by Irina - she does some wonderful drawings on flat surfaces as well.
