brooks salzwedel

Just came across these beautifully eerie images by Brooks Salzwedel at my friend Derrick’s blog, Derrically. Several images are layered through resin to create the foggy atmosphere. I would love to learn and incorporate this technique to my work someday.

tessar lo

Kitsune Noir has a new work in the wallpaper project by Tessar Lo. I briefly mentioned Kitsune Noir’s desktop wallpaper project when I posted about McBess. I love all the works featured so far - be sure to go check them out.

ark

I came across this brilliant artist ark on flickr. Couldn’t really find much information on him/her besides the fact that he/she works out of Athens. Ark has an extensive collection of some amazing drawings / street art / murals on his flickr stream, so be sure to check it out.

graduation piece

The graduation piece is finally up. It wasn’t easy getting pulling everything together, especially with the wall being such thin ply-wood. It’s not perfect, but it’ll have to do for now. The lighting’s aweful in these pictures, but I got it fixed (somewhat) after I took these photos so it looks a little bit better now. I have a few more detail shots on my flickr stream.

poolga

Poolga just posted a couple more drawings by me on their site. For those of you not familiar with Poolga, they provide free wallpapers for iPhones. The images used for these wallpapers are selected from illustrators and designers from all over the world. They have some great works posted on their site, so be sure to check them out.
