field notes and etcetra
I finally got my field notes in the mail yesterday. It’s actually been over a year since I posted about these notebooks. It took me that long to finally order some. And although I haven’t tried them out yet, I must say I’m very pleased with the package. Must be all the futura.
If you’re a rss subscriber to one strange morning, or you just like to come visit from time to time, you would’ve noticed that I haven’t been posting that much in the past few months. Once in a while I would post a few entries and claim to be back but disappear again. I know it’s a horrible excuse, but life’s been pretty busy. I’ve been learning new things and trying to find a direction for both my personal and professional life. Also I’ve been wanting to re-design the blog – which obviously hasn’t happened yet, but it provided another excuse to postpone actually blogging. Due to my lack of knowledge in programming, and laziness, the re-design thing won’t be happening for a while. But I’m back for real. For now. Hopefully.

P.S. If anyone knows how to customize wordpress themes and wants to collaborate, let me know! I’m not rich, but I’m sure we can work something out.

woohoo welcome back!! field notes are awesome. although i am heavily considering making my own notebook by stitching the spine with wax thread. seems easy enough!
unfortunately i can’t help much with wordpress themes. mine is usually just a template that i screw around with until it looks the way it does. it often takes a ton of time and involves more trial-and-error than i would like…
anyways hope you’re having a fine and dandy weekend! :) (and how about that thunderstorm and the crazy sky today?!)

thanks joanne! i’m totally obsessed with notebooks and sketchbooks.. but then again, who isn’t these days? making your own sounds awesome though. i’ve always imagined actually getting my own papers printed (lined & grid) to make my own sketchbooks. maybe one day… oh, and if your blog theme’s a result of you just screwing around with it… wow! i love it! maybe i’ll continue to mess around with it myself. i think the problem with me is that i get too anal about it.

Agree on the field notes front though am torn in saying which is better between them and the sleek moleskines… Oh well.
If you need some help with the wordpress theme I could help… I know a bit and have made a few wordpress themes if you need a reference.
